Fit+ keeps your training, nutrition and health data under your control. This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it and the choices you have.
1.Who we are
Fit+ is operated by Swiftware (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Fit+ apps for iPhone, Apple Watch and Android, and the Fit+ web workspaces on this site. If you have a question about your information, write to support@usefitplus.com.
2.Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address and password, plus the profile details you add, such as a photo, goal, experience level and units.
- Training and nutrition: workouts, sets, plans, bookings, meals, meal photos, body measurements and recovery check-ins that you log.
- Messages and media: chat messages, photos and voice messages you send to coaches, nutritionists or gyms.
- Community activity: posts, follows and leaderboard entries, shown to others according to your privacy settings.
- Support requests and feedback you send us.
Health data you choose to import
If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, Fit+ reads only the data types you allow in your phone’s health permissions. These can include steps, workouts, exercise time, distance, active and total energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep, weight, height, body fat, blood oxygen, respiratory rate and body temperature. The first import covers the last 30 days. Fit+ reads this data. It does not write to Apple Health or Health Connect. You can change or withdraw access at any time in your phone’s settings.
If you connect a WHOOP account, we receive your recovery, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, cycle and workout data from WHOOP, and keep the access token needed to sync it.
Information collected automatically
- On the web, a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in, and your browser stores your light or dark theme choice.
- If you allow notifications, a device token so we can deliver them.
- Basic server logs and request counts, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Fit+ does not contain advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Product analytics in the phone apps is off unless you allow it (see Analytics).
3.How we use your information
- To provide Fit+: keep your records, sync them across your devices and show your progress.
- To adapt your training and nutrition suggestions to what you log and to your recovery.
- To let the coaches, nutritionists and gyms you choose work with you.
- To run AI features, only when you turn AI processing on (see below).
- To process purchases and gym memberships, and to answer support requests.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse and meet our legal obligations.
4.Where your data is stored and how it is protected
Your account, training, nutrition and health data are stored with Supabase, which provides our database, sign-in, file storage and server functions. Data travels over encrypted connections.
Every table uses row level security. The database checks the signed-in account on every read and write, so your records can be opened only by you and by the people you have granted access to. Platform administrators and gym owners have no automatic access to your health data.
5.Sharing with coaches, nutritionists and gyms
We share your training, nutrition and health data with a coach, nutritionist or gym only through a consent grant that you create in Data sharing. For each grant you choose:
- the person it is for,
- the categories they can see: workouts, schedule, sleep, recovery, nutrition or measurements,
- how long it lasts. New grants end after 7, 30 or 90 days.
You can stop a grant at any time, and access ends as soon as it is revoked or expires. Joining a gym, booking a session or buying a membership never grants access to your health data on its own.
When you join a gym, its owner and staff can see your name and profile, your membership, bookings and check-ins. Check-ins are a gym record, visible to that gym’s owner, staff and coaches, and to you.
6.AI Coach and meal photo estimates
The AI Coach and meal photo estimates work only when you turn on AI processing in the app. While it is off, nothing is sent to an AI provider.
When it is on, and only when you use these features, we send the following to our AI service providers:
- AI Coach: your question and recent conversation, your goal and level, any photo you attach, and your recent workouts, plans, meals and coach notes. Your recent health and recovery data is included unless you choose not to share health data with the coach.
- Meal photos: the photo you choose, to estimate the food and nutrients in it. You review the estimate before anything is saved.
The providers process the data to return a reply. Where a provider lets us, we ask it not to store these responses. AI answers and estimates can be wrong, and they are not medical advice.
Voice input is transcribed by your phone’s own speech recognition service. When you scan a barcode or search for a food, only the barcode or search words are sent to Open Food Facts, a public food database, without any account details.
7.Analytics
The Fit+ apps for iPhone and Android can send product analytics to PostHog, hosted in the United States, to help us understand which features are used and where the app needs work. This is opt in: nothing is sent until you choose Allow when the app asks, and the website and web workspaces do not use it.
When you allow it, the app sends:
- the names of the screens you open and of actions such as starting or finishing a workout, logging a meal, connecting a health source, booking a coach or viewing Fit+ Pro,
- general details about those actions, such as the kind of workout, a rough duration or exercise count, or whether a meal was added by barcode, search or photo,
- your role, app language and whether you have Fit+ Pro, plus your device model, operating system and app version,
- a random account identifier, so actions from your devices can be counted together.
It never includes your health or recovery data, measurements, weights, food or meal details, messages or AI Coach conversations, photos, your name, email address or location, or anything you type. We ask PostHog not to look up your location from your IP address. Analytics is never sent in the demo.
You can turn analytics on or off at any time in Me › Settings › Security. Turning it off, signing out or deleting your account stops it straight away and clears the analytics identifier on your device.
8.Purchases and payments
Fit+ Pro is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment, and we never receive your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm your subscription status. It receives an app user identifier and the purchase record from the store, not your health data.
When a gym offers online membership payments, Stripe processes the payment. We receive the payment status and amount, not your full card number.
9.Notifications
If you allow notifications, we deliver them through Apple Push Notification service on Apple devices, or the equivalent service on your Android device. You can choose which alerts you receive in Me › Settings › Notifications, and turn them off in your device settings.
10.Service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We use these providers to run Fit+:
- Supabase: database, sign-in, file storage and server functions.
- Vercel: hosting for this website and the web workspaces.
- AI service providers: AI Coach replies, meal photo estimates and AI plans, only with AI processing on.
- Apple and Google: app distribution, Apple Health and Health Connect on your device, in-app purchases and push notifications.
- RevenueCat: subscription status.
- Stripe: online gym membership payments.
- WHOOP: only if you connect your WHOOP account.
- Open Food Facts: barcode and food search lookups.
These providers may process data in other countries. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people using Fit+.
11.Your choices and rights
- Download your data: in the app, open Me › Settings › Security and choose Export data for a copy of your records.
- Delete your account: choose Delete account in the same place, or sign in on our account deletion page. Your account and records are deleted straight away. You can also email support@usefitplus.com from your account’s address, and we finish within 30 days. The account deletion page lists what is deleted and what is kept.
- Control sharing: review, change or revoke grants in Data sharing.
- AI processing: turn it on or off in the AI Coach preferences.
- Correct your details in your profile, or ask us to.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object to or restrict processing, or to complain to a data protection authority. To use any of these rights, contact support@usefitplus.com.
12.How long we keep data
We keep your information while your account is open. When you delete your account in the app or on the account deletion page, we delete your account and records straight away. Requests by email, and accounts that own a gym or business, are finished by our team within 30 days.
We keep only what the law requires: payment records for gym memberships (amount, currency, date, gym and the payment provider’s reference), without your name or email, for 10 years. Security log entries keep a random account number, never your name or email. Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
13.Children
Fit+ is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
14.Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and tell you in the app before an important change takes effect.
